What are the pros and cons of a regular exercise bike vs. a recumbent bike?

There are several advantages and disadvantages of regular exercise bike compared to recumbent bike. These are the following:

* Regular exercise bike is preferred because it is mostly available on gym and working out centers.

However, there are complains about the back pain that is experienced after working out on regular exercise bike. Recumbent bike is much easier to work out with aside from the fact that it does not give back pain.

* Regular exercise bike are cheaper than the recumbent bikes, however recumbent bikes burns out calories easily and effectively than the regular exercise bike.

* In recumbent bike, your will work out all the major muscle groups in your body compared to regular bike that only works on the lower body.
